Hey guys. what's up. from this last tuesday to this past sunday has been the first break from school (besides weekends, of course, but that's a given.) that we've had since school started. and it wasn't even a whole week long (like it used to be for the past five years i've been in this school district). i could go on for, realistically, about 15-20 minutes (maybe 10 if it's not a discussion, and maybe more if it was) on the subject of how much the calendar for this school year sucks, but chances are, you don't care about that.

i've not been drawing lately, since, well, i haven't been on dA lately to get those "OMG THIS IS SO AWESOME I WISH I COULD DRAW AS AWESOMELY AS THEM I NEED TO PRACTICE AND GET BETTER" moments, and i haven't been stuckstuckstuck to fandoms i get interested in since i don't go and look up fantastic fanarts and maybe some hilarious, cute, or memorable pictures that would make me love the characters more.

anyway. i've really missed drawing, and i only do so rarely, nowadays. (AS YOU PEOPLE CAN OBVIOUSLY SEE, I HAVEN'T UPLOADED ANYTHING IN FOREVER > n>

and my, do i really, really, ever so truly wish that winter break would come faster. like "bambambam omg that was quick" fast. but i don't want that to mean that my commissioners wait longer. D:

because. i was actually productive this fall break! :3 yeyness.

welllll i've been away from the internetingstuff i usually do. retreating to gaming, piano playing, hanging out with friends, and various other ways to waste time.

haven't drawn anything in that time except for one shaded roxas headshot and a shaded random-girl-with-sunglasses headshot.

a little piano update: i've played To Zanarkand and Sadness and Sorrow perfectly. I'm currently working on Michiyuki, but playing both hands on the fifth page is frustrating me to no end. I haven't memorized this one.

I look at deviantART now and just feel...sigh. that i'm not as awesome as i could be.

My art auction on gaia is going pretty well, but...no one really stays around. so it's lonely bumping all by myself. D: EDIT: omg an online person. yay.

I have to wear rubber bands (on my braces) again. I've had braces since the beginning of sixth grade. That's THREE YEARS NOW. I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET THEM OFF A YEAR AGO. >:(

I have freshman orientation tomorrow. (omg high school... i'm 50/50 about it.)

But in other news, I finally bought Crisis Core for my brother! happyhappy. He can Finally open his PSP that he's had for two years (i think) now, lol.

I can play To Zanarkand almost Perfectly.

I'm getting better quickly at Sadness and Sorrow.

and starting on Eternity - Memory of Lightwaves, which I'm picking up faster than the other two (due to getting more used to playing on the piano)

I tried to play Houki Boushi, I can play most of the right hand (very clumsily, though) but i don't think i'll be able to play both hands together any time soon. @n@

SLEEPOVER WITH COUSINS THIS WEEKEND WOOT!

My summer plans have been like blah. I barely did anything i wrote down on my to do list.

so yeah. i've been playing windwaker. and crushing down my fears of past traumas. (aka re-deads) Now. just to face them in OOT.

i've been gaiaing a lot lately.

one collab shop (open) with Cloudie and one joint shop (setting up) with my cousin.

i haven't gone through my deviantWATCH inbox.

if i feel like writing down random facts about me. i shall do so here.

1. My favorite drink is milk.
2. I used to suck my index finger in addition to my thumb when i was little.
3. I like peeling potatoes.
4. I am never seen wearing the color pink.
5. I have a neat stack of drawings (both finished and unfinished) that is at least six to seven inches high.
6. I have a ton of pink stuff in my room. both because i don't really care to change my room and i'm asian.
7. Right now, the only song i've fully memorized that i can play on the piano is To Zanarkand. My favorite song. I'm working on Sadness and Sorrow.
8. I went to ballet/tap/jazz classes when I was in kindergarten.
9. Love Hina was the first manga I read.
10. The first slash fanfic I read was Burning Ice and Freezing Fire back when I didn't even realize what i was reading. I knew it was boy x boy, i just didn't know that i was supposed to at least start out with a ō__ŏ face upon reading such a thing. instead...i just...giggled. that is a fact that both (somewhat) haunts but amuses me. i have yet to reread it.
11. The first yaoi pairing i shipped was akuroku and it has been my OTP to this day.
12. I am ashamed that I was once a stage 1 fangirl. But i'm glad i got over that by the time i reached sixth grade. (but that was after i joined gaia and before they started releasing furuba every four months.)
13. I fell in love with roxas only after listening to his japanese voice actor. first i was obsessed over how awesome sora looked when he got older, then i saw how sexy riku looked and totally fangirled over him, then the roxas "omgfdasdoriandfnsdrinilovehim" phase, then i fell for axel's awesomeness after that. but still was obsessed with roxas.
14. I have four pillows in my room.
15. I have slept on a queen bed ever since i stopped sleeping in the same room as my parents.
16. I want to rewatch Ouran.
17. My clipboard is dark blue.
18. I think Axel's hair is pretty when I watch it in the cutscenes while actually playing the game. on youtube, his hair does not look as pretty.
19. I played maplestory back when Bera had x2 of stuff. like, drop and meso. idr about exp.
20. I have in fact NOT played kingdom hearts 2 all the way through at least twice. I am a disgrace to all kingdom hearts fans.

another update?

well, it's a week late, but it's good enough.

last weekend i spent the whole time downloading and reading manga (800mb would've gotten more if my internet was faster) and working on the second part Sui's commission (almost done: just need to shade hair, make bg, and do touch-ups).

one of my uncles on my mom's side came over from new york saturday morning, my cousins val and hil came over on sunday afternoon, we went over to their house on monday, my dad, brother, his girlfriend, and I went to see a private screening of the new Indiana Jones movie on Tuesday, our family went to Uncle Choo's house on Wednesday, I had a Spring Orchestra concert on Thursday, and today i have to stay over at Auntie Bee's house until Sunday morning.

and that's just after school stuff. mostly from 6:00 to 9:00-11:00. i had a busy week.

On thursday (in school) was our 8th grade end-of-year Party, and it was Great.

We got to ride horses, play in the game room, have a chance at dunking teachers, played in the pool, could've participated in the "A-MAZE-ing Maze", and other stuff.

I, personally, spent most of the time in the pool. But i got a cramp in the middle, so i didn't want to risk swimming in the deep part and have it act up again. ^{oh, but clarice, 5 feet isn't that deep.}
well i'm not even five feet yet (CURSES! D:< :is only 4'11"1/2: ) DESPITE all the milk i drink. (psht. but i don't exercise that much, anyway. XP)

just a reminder, i don't drink milk because i'm obsessed with trying to get taller. i drink milk because it's my favorite drink.

ohoho. we had the 180 degrees abstinence presentation today, lololol, and the person made us sing this song, (this kinda thing works better in person, btw. XD) and gosh, it gets stuck in your head even if you don't want it to.

it goes:
